I started this St. Nicholas many years ago, stitching done waiting to be finished. It was featured in an American Patchwork and Quilting magagzine and was designed by Cindy Taylor. I chose a different border for my wall hanging.
This table runner is another project that has waited to be finished. I changed the border because I wanted to use the Christmas lights fabric. This was featured in an Australian Handmade magazine and was designed by Joy White. There are a couple of additions of my own as well.

What lovely crafting Nessie. It does feel good to get some things finished especially ones that have been waiting awhile.
Both your pieces are lovely Nessie.
I have to smile to see the fan just below and to the left of the tablerunner, but then I remember it is Spring almost Summer in your part of the world.
Merry Christmas to you and yours.
It felt so nice to finish the afghan. It will be travelling to New Zealand with my niece and she will then have snow to see when ever she pulls it over herself.
The embroidery is lovely. Nice to see it finished. I do think that I saw it in the book.
Your table runner is a treasure. I would be tempted to hang it on the wall where i could see all of it, not on the table where someone will be sure to put a dish over it and cover up one of the lovely reindeer.
HI Nessie, it is so neat to read your blog as it is so cold here and it looks so lovely there! Love your posts!
