Christmas Time

Christmas is here again and there are lots of trees with their pretty decorations.

The Melbourne City Council always have nice flowering plants around this time of year.

The wool bombing has happened again and it is nice to see the craft work and beautiful crotchet.

This star decoration caught my attention when I was going through one of the arcades in Melbourne.

Another Christmas tree with its' gold baubles.

There are lots of banners hung to make it more festive at Christmas time.

A festive wreath I saw at our local shopping centre.

These large baubles are at the top end of Collins StreetThis part of Collins Street is also known as the Paris end of Collins Street.

Lastly, the new Nativity scene provided by my local Council.

I wish everyone a happy and peaceful Christmas

Autumn

Autumn is one of my favourite seasons

As well as the weather cooling down after our usual hot summer

there is plenty of colour around

The wattle trees are starting to bloom again

as well as the flowering gums

and the bird life enjoying the extra water lying around after the rain we have had.

Easter

It has become a tradition that I make hot cross buns and raisin bread every year at Easter time and this year was no exception.

I also made these sweet treats for Easter Sunday and they were very popular with my family.

It is Autumn here in Victoria, Australia and the trees are beginning to show their pretty colours

My walks are more enjoyable since the hot Summer weather has ceased and the lovely warm Autumn weather has begun.

Happy Easter
