Today is Australia Day. It is a day when people celebrate by spending time with friends and relatives and enjoying barbecues etc. We went to Yarra Glen a little tourist township which has a lot of cafes, gift and antique shops. We enjoyed a nice afternoon tea there.I made a blue (Aussie slang for mistake) in forgetting to take my camera with me so no pictures of today. Instead I have uploaded a couple of pictures of my Kangaroo Paws plants. You can see why they are called Kangaroo Paws as when the flowers open they look like paws.
