I took the opportunity today of going for a walk around the area I live and enjoying all the colours of autumn. It was the first day of sunshine we have had for a while.
There are lots of leaves on the ground and some still have their colours.
The autumn colours this year have been extra good because of the good rains we have had.
The pretty pink colours
and the bright yellows as above.
The above flowers were blowing in the wind today
The bees are kept very busy getting the nectar from these flowers.
This is a rose growing in our garden. It also has a lovely perfume.

Lovely photos Nessie, we've had a very wet Spring hrtr this year so I've not taken very many flower photos lately.
They say we may have a long hot summer, time will tell.
