Yarn Garden
Outside my local library I noticed this Yarn Garden made by a few of the local schools in our area.
It certainly brightened up the area and added more greenery to the open space.
I took these pictures with my 'phone camera to capture this event.
Such creativity! It is lovely to see that some young people are learning some of the crafts.

Yesterday
Yesterday I went for a walk around the Ringwood Lake |
It was a lovely sunny spring day with a cool breeze |
These ducks took advantage of the nice day by spending time in the water |
I think this bird was trying to ignore me! |
These are a couple of the lovely spring flowers out in bloom at the moment |

Carol's bag
The above is a picture of a bag I made for my friend Carol. Carol needed a bag for her magazines. I used one of my Asian fabrics with Autumn tones which are her favourite colours.
That's all for now.

Monet Exhibition at the National Gallery of Victoria
I took advantage of seeing the Monet Exhibition which is drawing to a close in Melbourne |
Another artwork on display was the above pond in which there were white floating china bowls. When the bowls touched there was a lovely chime sound. |

A visit to Altona and Williamstown
When visiting Altona we saw these metal sculptures near the entrance to the Altona Pier |
This picture shows the length of the Altona Pier |
A view of the beach area |
Looking over the water in Williamstown you can see the buildings of the City of Melbourne |
It was nice to see the black swans and of course there are the usual seagulls. |
Another view of the buildings in the City of Melbourne |
There were lots of boats as well as this big ship. |
This duck was enjoying the good weather. |
This black swan did not seem at all frightened and came right up to us as we were walking along the footpath |
The entrance to the yacht club. It was a lovely sunny winter's day . A lovely area to visit. That's all for now. Nessie |
