Last day of January
During January we have had some smoke filled skies due to the fires in the South East of Victoria
The sun was eerie looking and was a lot redder than these pictures
There also have been some dust storms of red dust
which accounts for the colour of the water across this pathway
We have had some lovely clear days for walking and caught up with these ducks on their travels

I always love seeing another wattle tree out in blossom
The Jacaranda trees always do well in the summer time. That's all for now, Nessie

Spring time - Late September and an October post
Spring time again and it is always lovely to see the bees at work.
We have had had some good rainfall
The magnolia blooms have been wonderful this year
and the blossom trees have shown their lovely colours
These poppies made quite a show
as well as the tulips
as well as this yellow rhododendron. It always makes my walks more enjoyable seeing what plants are out in flower and just enjoying the beauty of nature. That's all for now Nessie

Winter time
On my walk through the Bush Owl land Reserve I was delighted to see the Pink Heath out in flower. It is the State of Victoria's floral emblem.
There is always a Wattle tree out in flower and they always brighten up a dull winter's day.
Lots of replanting of the vegetation taking place |
and there are always trees coming down over pathways etc. after the rain
Raindrops clinging on to the spikey branches. There is always something different to see when going out for a walk. That's all for now, Nessie

Last of the Autumn colours
The Winter season has just begun and I saw these Ornamental Pear trees on my walk last weekend.
A Corkscrew Willow
and more Autumn colours to brighten up a dull day
Maidenhair Fern I noticed in the Owl Bushland Reserve growing wild. That's all for now, Nessie
